Most Asked Questions

When water, fire, or mold damage hits your home or business, the last thing you want to hear is “we’ll be there sometime tomorrow.” That’s not how we operate. WRG guarantees a 45-minute or less rapid response time across all of our South Florida service areas, including Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties, as well as the greater Atlanta area. Our certified emergency restoration technicians are strategically deployed so that the moment you call, help is already heading your way. Fast response isn’t just a selling point for us. It’s a standard we hold ourselves to every single day.

The cost of property damage restoration depends on the extent of the damage, the type of loss you’re dealing with, and the scope of work required to make things right. Rather than throwing a number at you before we’ve even seen the damage, we conduct a thorough on-site assessment first and then walk you through a detailed, fully transparent estimate. We also work directly with your insurance company to help streamline the claims process and reduce your out-of-pocket burden as much as possible. No surprises, no hidden fees, just honest pricing backed by quality work.

Yes, always. We never charge for an estimate, because we believe you deserve to know exactly what you’re dealing with before any work begins. One of our experienced restoration specialists will visit your property, assess the full scope of the damage, and walk you through a clear, detailed plan of action at no cost to you. We’d rather spend that time earning your trust than sending you a bill before we’ve done anything to help.

Absolutely, and it’s one of the things we do best. WRG is a fully licensed mold removal company (License #MRSR73), and our certified technicians are trained to safely identify, contain, and eliminate mold at the source, whether it developed from a slow leak, water damage, flooding, or the kind of humidity South Florida is known for. We use EPA-registered, CDC-compliant products throughout the entire remediation process to make sure your indoor air quality is fully restored and the health of everyone inside the property is protected. We handle both residential and commercial mold remediation across South Florida and Atlanta, and we don’t consider the job done until the problem is genuinely solved.

We’ve been serving the South Florida community for more than 20 years. What started as a family-owned operation in Miami has grown into a multi-location company with offices in Miami-Dade, West Palm Beach, and Atlanta, Georgia. Over those nearly two decades, we’ve built lasting relationships with homeowners, businesses, HOAs, and property managers who come back to us time and again because they know what to expect: honest communication, skilled technicians, and a team that genuinely cares about making things right.

WRG is a full-service property damage restoration and remediation company, which means we handle the complete range of what can go wrong with a residential or commercial property. We specialize in water damage restoration, including flood cleanup, water extraction, structural drying, and moisture control. We restore homes and businesses after fire and smoke damage, handling everything from soot removal to odor elimination. Our team is licensed to perform professional mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and environmental cleanup for biohazard and hazardous material situations. And when the restoration work is done, we handle the reconstruction too. From the moment disaster strikes to the day you walk back into a fully restored property, WRG is with you every step of the way.

We do, and this is something that genuinely sets us apart. A lot of restoration companies will handle the emergency mitigation and then leave you to figure out the repairs on your own. We don’t do that. WRG offers full-service reconstruction, meaning our licensed general contractors (License #CGC1526082) stay with you from the very first emergency call all the way through to the final repair and rebuild. You work with one team, one point of contact, and one company you can trust throughout the entire process. It makes everything simpler, faster, and far less stressful when you’re already dealing with a difficult situation.

WRG has been the trusted name in property damage restoration across South Florida for over 20 years. We started as a family-owned and operated business in Miami, and that family mentality has never left us, even as we’ve grown to serve thousands of homeowners, businesses, condominium associations, and property managers throughout the region. Our team is IICRC-certified and fully licensed, bonded, and insured. We’ve seen just about every type of property damage there is, which means when we walk into your home or building, we’re not guessing. We’re drawing on more than two decades of hands-on experience to get you the best possible outcome.

Yes, without exception. WRG is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, because property disasters don’t wait for business hours and neither do we. Whether it’s a burst pipe at 2 in the morning, storm flooding over a holiday weekend, or a fire that breaks out on a Sunday night, our emergency restoration teams are on call and ready to reach you within 45 minutes or less across South Florida and Atlanta. Call us anytime at 1 (844) DRY-WATER and a real member of our team will pick up, ready to help.

Water

Water damage can be a growing problem. The longer you wait to resolve the problem, the worse it becomes. If your property has carpeting, you can expect the following:

  • Tearing and Ripping: Water weakens the carpet fibers and latex backing over time causing the carpet to become more susceptible to tears and rips.
  • Fire Hazard: Some properties may have electrical wiring underneath the carpets. Over time, the insulation barrier may become weak and when in close contact with water become a serious fire hazard.
  • Mold Growth: Any damp surface exposed to water damage such as carpets and drywalls are prone to grow harmful fungi like mold.
  • Musty Odors: Stale moisture on carpets and mold growth produce musty smells that are hard to get rid of. Air fresheners only mask these odd smells but don’t necessarily remove their causes.
  • Pest Attraction: Common household pest are drawn in by damp surfaces. Rats and roaches love it even more when that surface is your carpet. These pests can haul in deadly germs that can infect people and pets that come into direct contact with the carpet.

Discoloration and soft texture on the walls are usually high indicators there may be an internal leak, or water damage. To assess any damage, contact a professional to perform an infrared inspection. You can schedule a free inspection with us today, or contact 1 (844) DRY-WATER

  1. Immediately contact a restoration company to come out and mitigate any damage.
  2. Shut off the water valve to stop the water flow from flooding or damaging the affected area.
  3. Remove as much excess water as possible from the floor or walls by using a bucket or drape to throw out any water.

Every restoration project is unique, and it requires a unique plan. Therefore, there is no fixed cost we can provide. However, we offer a free estimate and pre-restoration consultations. You can schedule a free inspection with us today, or contact 1 (844) DRY-WATER

Fire & Smoke

  • Do not try to wash or wipe absorbent surfaces such as wood and drywall.
  • Avoid contact with any upholstered surfaces.
  • Do not consume any food or drinks exposed to extreme heat or smoke.
  • Do not use any electric appliances until a professional confirms it is safe to use.
  • Immediately wash any items such as clothes, drapes, and floor coverings that were exposed to smoke.

Smoke can act as an acid and will eat away at different materials if left too long. As a result, the structure will weaken, contents will be damaged, and it will create a health risk. Our 24/7 fire damage team will quickly clean up and restore your home to pre-fire condition. You can schedule a free inspection with us today, or contact 1 (844) DRY-WATER.

Mold

Mold spores are extremely minuscule, lightweight, and easily detached by airflow, vacuuming, walking on carpet, or sitting on a couch. They produce and release millions of spores, which are small enough to stay airborne, threatening to attack the human respiratory system.

Mold growths can frequently be seen in the form of discoloration, ranging from white to orange and from green to brown or black. For mold to grow, it needs food sources (such as leaves, wood, paper, or dirt), a source of moisture, and a place to grow.

While mold exists everywhere, it sometimes takes on a dangerous form. The scientific name for the greenish-black mold that turns up on carpet, wallpaper, and ceiling tiles is Stachybotrys Chartarum or Black Mold. It produces a mycotoxin that causes mycotoxicosis, and is thought to be the cause of Sick Building Syndrome (SBS).

Mold is most commonly found in buildings and homes, but it can be found in many areas. It will grow in any place that has a lot of moisture, such as around water leaks, or where there has been flooding.

Try to not disrupt the area where the mold is. Call our mold remediation team to schedule a mold remediation inspection. Our trained specialist will safely remediate the mold from your home or business with minimal disruptions. You can schedule a free inspection with us today, or contact 1 (844) DRY-WATER.

Asbestos

Asbestos is a mineral mined from the Earth on an industrial scale and was used in thousands of products. If exposed to disturbed fibers, it can cause various types of cancer, including mesothelioma, asbestosis, and lung cancer.

Buildings built before 1985 are likely to be originally constructed with asbestos. If left undisturbed and is in good shape, it poses no health hazard. In order to determine if asbestos is present a sample must be taken and analyzed by an independent testing laboratory.

If you suspect asbestos in your property, DO NOT touch or disturb it. We can assist by arranging an asbestos testing company to perform an analysis and comprehensive survey. If the results are positive for asbestos, contact our environmental team of experts to compose an asbestos abatement plan and estimate. You can schedule a free inspection with us today, or contact 1 (844) DRY-WATER.
